I liked the Silver Arrow because it shows who was the best archer and how they captured robin hood.
ReplyDeleteI also liked Theseus and the Minotaur because it shows how they killed the Minotaur and how hungry he was.
and I liked how the Troll was tricked because a farmer wanted wood so he sent his children to cut the wood but the troll kept on taking them but then one child cut open the trolls stomach
but I liked all of the myths a and legends.
I liked;
ReplyDeleteThe Legend of Robin Hood
I liked this legend because of the brave deeds Robin Hood does. He dedicates his life to being an outlaw and hunting to help a friend and change the laws to better ones.
The Sword in the Stone
I like this story because it is about a honest and hardworking knight's squire who is very determined to find his brother a sword. He finds a sword in an anvil and cleverly takes it out. What he does not know is that whoever takes the sword out of the stone will be the true king of Briton.
The Mischievous Piper
This myth is about a mother who has 4 sons. Her last one is swapped with a fairy child (an ugly one) as a baby. She treated the child kindly and one day an old man came along. He played the pipes and instantly, the child who was always screaming started cheering happily. They bought him some pipes. Within a few days he was spectacular. then one day he disappeared and the mother's true son was waiting by the door.
I didn't like;
The Wise Wizard and some Curious Cats
It is about a wizard who goes to an inn where there is a lot of robbery. He finds out it is the owners who use witchcraft to turn into cats and then steal the money from the guests. I do not like it because the owners are dishonest and cruel.
The Abandoned Children of Wailing Wood
There was once a rich man who gave his two children to his brother while he was dying he said that his son would inherit 300 pounds a year from his 21st birthday. His daughter would get 500 pounds on her wedding day. The uncle hired 2 ruffians to kidnap the children and take them to a forest. the children died there of hunger. I don't like this story because it is very sad and the uncle is very cruel.
The Mermaid and a Magic Comb:

The black egg and the giant Pan Gu

It seemed really special.
The little blue man
ReplyDeleteI disliked it because they described the little blue man so disgustingly.At first i thought it was funny but then when l thought about it , it was really gross and i saw the picture and he was all wrinkled up.when they said we don't know what the blue man is,it freaked me out.

The stories that I liked the most were: A Ride with the devil, The Sword in the Stone and The Legend of Robin Hood.
ReplyDeleteA RIDE WITH THE DEVIL:
I liked this legend because it teaches us not to be bad to one another. When reading this story, I noticed that if one does harm to another, worse harm will come to you in the end.
THE SWORD IN THE STONE:
I like this story because I found it that you cannot judge another person by its appearance. Even though all the knights were big and strong, they could not take out the sword from the stone. Only a small boy called Arthur was the only one who could remove the sword from the stone.
THE LEGEND OF ROBIN HOOD:
I enjoyed this story because Robin Hood stole money from the rich people to give to the poor. The lesson we learn here is if we do something good to someone we will get something good in return.

Why I didn't like it- I didn't like it because I don't understand what he needed the rowan in his right hand for and why the egg was guarded with a giant toad!
The myths that I didn’t like was called The mysterious treasure of the unlucky pirate because I didn’t understand the myth and there was a hard word for me to understand. Also there was one more story that I didn’t like was “Maltilda’s bracelet” because it was quiet boring and it didn’t explain the myth how it went really well.
ReplyDeleteThe story that I liked was “Maud and the dragon” because it explained very well about that myth and it was quiet easy to understand but there were quite hard words. Also there is a myth that I also like was Restless sprits and ringing bells, because it didn’t made me boring and it told you about the long and stormy history about the history.
My Favorite and worst myths!
ReplyDeleteFavorite 3 myths!

Maud and the Dragon.
I liked this myth because it shows respect to animals, even the animals that are scary! This story is very respectful and a bit cruel because at the end the dragon gets killed! My favourite part is when Maud took care of the dragon in the woods!
Worst 2 myths
The Mischievous piper.

The black egg, Pan Gu and the world.
I did not like this story because Pan Gu looked very eerie and a bit strange! It was not boring to watch but umm... it was quite something not for me! The worst thing in this myth was when weird creatures appeared on Pan Gu’s body.
