  2. I am interviewing:My mom Monica

Her favourite holiday was going on a cruise ship called star princess, because we went to South America to visit the glaciers and penguins. My mom's first childhood memory was going to the beach with her grandmother. The things that make her happy is when we travel to another country, going out with her friends and when her children are happy. What makes her sad is when I shout at her, I don't listen to her and watching a sad movie. What my mom likes to do in her spare time is play tennis, listen to music, read books, watch football and other sports and going out with her children. She wants to see the whole of Turkey in the future.

Do you have any brothers or sisters I asked, ' yes I had 3 of them and there names are Osman, Aisha and Omar and I was the youngest out of them all'. Next I asked her which school did you go to in Sudan and the awnser was BSH [which stands for British School of Khartoom] and Mrs.Malik also says that her best friend in that school was, Julia and she was from uganda.

Then I asked her which country did you go next, 'My next destination was Zambya and I was six when I went there and I lived in the city Lusaka and we had a housekeeper called Christofer and he was a really a sweat person. 5. This is Thomas N reporting from Zekeriyakoy, Istanbul. I am here to interview Jenny Norden(my mum). Jenny sits down eagerly so I think she's quite excited to tell me all about her life.

My first question is; What was your first childhood memory? She says that would be Bramhall in the UK when they lived there. They had a long garden which was separated from a field with horses by a wooden gate. Then one day the horses went into the garden and the next day my mum found the garden full of poo. "It was very funny for a 3 year old and a 5 year old brother!" she quoted.

My next question was; What was your favourite holiday? She told it would be when she and her family drove down from Boston to Miami. It took 3 weeks and they went to Disney World and Sea World. They also visited Cape Canaveral.

I then asked my mum what her hobby was? She said that she barely got any spare time but if she did she liked horse riding and baking. She said she also liked to read and walk our dog on the beach.

My penultimate question was; What is your favourite food? She said she liked to eat Italian food like Lasagna, Spaghetti Bolognese and pasta. She also likes traditional Swedish food.

My last question was; What place would you like to visit in the future? She said she would love to visit South Africa "From all the books I've read it seems like a really nice country with lots of kind people," she said. She would also like to go to the Arctic Circle and see the Northern Lights. She said she would also want to visit Australia.

  7. I am sitting here in my house on my mini I-Pad and sitting opposite me is my mum and I am ready to take notes about her life.
My mum was born in Rochford, Essex, England on 15th of September 1973 in a hospital called Rochford Maternity Hospital. Her mum is called Sally Jackson and her birth father is called Fred Cozens, but they divorced in 1981 when she was 9. Her step-father is called John Jackson. When she was small she liked to jump in puddles with her sister called Anna, who is two years younger than her, dressing up, playing with sindy dolls and writing stories.
On TV She liked to watch Basil Brush who was a fox puppet, Roland Rat who was a rat puppet and Sooty And Sweep that were dog puppets. She went to St Margaret’s play school in the church hall from when she was 3 until she was 4. After that she went to West Leigh infant and junior school from when she was 4 until she was 11, and she went to Westcliff High School for Girls from when she was 11 until she was 16 and she went to Felsted school from when she was 16 until she was 18. Her best school memories were doing drama and she was in every school play. She also loved art and her art teachers were very kind. She also loved going on school trips to art galleries in London.
Her favourite holiday was going to Cappadocia and walking in the beautiful valleys in the lovely scenery and learning the history of Cappadocia. At this point my mum jumps up and said ‘’I’ve just got to check on the potatoes!’’ Then we resume our talk. As an adult, this is what makes her happy: being with family, going on long walks in beautiful scenery, being by the sea and swimming in it, having long lunches and seeing other people happy. As an adult, this is what makes her sad: arguments, hearing bad news, sad films, missing people and seeing other people sad.

  9. Maxima’s interview on Elena Schiller (Her mom)

Hello, this is Maxima interviewing her Mother at a very cold and foggy day at our house in Istanbul. “When I went in my moms room she was working on her computer, so I had to wait for some time when she came downstairs and let me write a interview on her….I was thinking of starting and ending really fast, but my mom could remember so much stuff that my hand got sore by holding the pencil!

    So here I start!

Favorite thing she remembered in her childhood.

“My favorite activity in the childhood was helping my father fixing the car by giving him all the tools he wanted.”
Don’t you want to try to help fixing a car? Doesn’t that just sound brilliant? Hope those tools weren’t heavy! (:

    My mother’s best holiday.

“Celebrating the 2000th year eve in Egypt desert! It was very warm on the 31st of December 1999. About plus 20! The tables were served like in the 5 star restaurants. The carpets were lying right on top of the sand. The show was spectacular! The best part was when every hour different nationality were greeting their first hour of the new century!”
Amazing! Do you wish that could happen to us? That would be great!

    Her interests.

My mother’s favorite activities is to read, sow, knit and play tennis.
My mother is very good at all these things, especially at sowing! She could even make the jeans!

What would she like to do in the future?

My mother would like to clime on the mount Tibet and go camping!
Don’t forget the marshmallows on the stick! Mmm, smells delicious (:

    What makes her happy?

“I am very happy to be together with my family! I love to go to Moscow and see my good friends! They make me laugh! I like to go to Croatia for the summer holidays! The food is yummy. The water is warm and clean!”
Oh. Yes! Croatia is cool but it is very hot there!

    Favorite food.

My mother’s favorite food is called Reiberdatschi (A German food that the German citizen’s mostly eat at the Christmas markets.
Oh, she is Russian however she likes German food:)) Nevertherless I also tasted them, they are…. DELICIOUS!!!!!

    My mother’s favorite color.

My mom’s favorite colors are turquoise, blue, green and grey.
Don’t you think the colors she likes are the sea colors? I bet she really likes Croatia!

I loved interviewing my mother, especially listening to her talking about celebrating the 2000th new year eve!

    Thanks for reading my interview!

  11. Yesterday on a rainy cold day I was in my room interviewing my mum about her life [past]
I asked about her favorite holiday during her childhood. She went to a beach in Istanbul [Kumburgaz] with her dad and sisters. They had ice cream, swam in the sea and played on the sand with pebbles all day long. However, her father forgot to put sun cream on, they all had been sunburnt. But she had really enjoyed it anyway.
Later she told me about her favorite holiday I asked her what she liked to do in her spare time. She liked to go and play with her friends outside the games she played were usually group games one of the games they played was Yakar top. She also liked panting and making clothes for barbies. Following to this she started to tell me what she likes and disliked. She very much liked writing in her dairy, making up poems and playing dolls with her sisters. She disliked eating vegetables and hot milk. Then I asked her what she wanted to be when she was a child. She wanted to be a parachute jumper. Finally I asked her what her favorite childhood memory was. She told me when her dad took her to the theater first time, was her favorite memory.

  12. This is Amina here on a slightly cold day, interviewing on my mums first memory in childhood. She came in to me ready to talk about it. It was rough for her to remeber the very first one, but she remembered it so clearly that it seamed she was telling me about her day. It was a very exiting day for my mums family, as it was...
Just let me tell you all about it.
When my mum was just four years old it was a very exiting moment it was the very first day of my aunts life.
It all happened on evening when my mum’s dad left to the hospital to pick up her mum and sister. My mum and her grandma were left at home. She was so excited, her heart raced and all the thoughts in her head swam in a mess because of excitement. Neither she nor her grandma could wait patiently. They laid a fancy dinner for everyone. The table was laid with plov, soup, cabbage cakes and huge metal pot called samovar in the middle. Just then the door bell rings, her dad walks in proudly. Mum slowly walks up to him and peers over the blanket. There lays a little baby with dark eyes and hair. The baby was tightly wrapped up into pink sheets. Then they put her in the middle of the bed. Lots of close friends and relatives came and sat themselves around the table ready to tart celebrating.
Meanwhile my mum got so curious and bored so, she crept up to the bed. She crawled around, touching her body. She was so interested hat her spit ran all the way down to her knees.
My mum’s memory is blank from the moment she gets told of for fussing around with the baby, because she might brake on of her bones (even though I don’t think that’s possible).
That’s the end of her first memory.
