Homework- Maths

To create your own mathematical word problems.
You need to think of five and TWO of them need to be division.

- it would be best to write the question first eg: 134 x 5 or 2/3 step questions 32 x 5 - 32            Then write the question into sentences.

Try and answer 10 each.

  3. 1. A vampire needs to drink 15 liters of blood a week. In each human he drinks 2, 5 liters. If he killed 2 people how much more blood will he need? How much less blood will he need if he killed 8 people?

    2. Yesterday our teacher gave us a project to work on for a week; he said you could do it based on 4 different polar animals. In our class there are 30 children. On the day we have to give the project in, 2 people weren’t here. In our class 7 children did a project on polar bear, 6 did a project on the snowy owl, 5 did a project on the arctic fox, and 6 did it on the penguin. How many people didn’t do the project?

    3. The hunters attacked a bamboo forest to catch pandas. One mother in each 9 lost a cub. If there were 18, others how many baby cubs were caught? How many weren’t?

    4. On Monday my grandpa plays chess on my computer 4 hours. On Tuesday and Thursday he plays 6 hours, on Wednesday and Friday he plays for 5 hours. However he doesn’t play on the weekend. How much time does he play in a week?

    5. I invited some girls to my birthday party. My mum shared some apples between us. But in the end my sister came from school so we each gave her one apple how many apples did my mum share?

      4. If you mean that he plays 6 hours per day on thursday and tuesday and on friday and wednesday, then its 26 hours, if you did not its 15.

    4. I needed to make lemonade. For 1 big glass you need 13 lemons. If 24 people came to my lemonade stand, how much lemons do I have to buy?

    5. I gave all my kimbab to my mom she ate 43 of them, and there were 5, 345 left, then Maxima, Heejae, and Jane ate 2, 349. How many were there before somebodedy ate them? And How much is left????
