You all need to write instructions again

- you are going to write instructions about your favourite board game

Things to remember:

- time connectives
-what you need ( counters, number of players, dice etc...)

- a new line for each instruction
- how many players
- moves/turns people need to take
- special cards etc...
- how do you win

IF YOU HAVE FINISHED WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS THEN KEEP WORKING ON YOUR SCRATCH PROJECT

-the aim is for you to either create a short animated story or a computer game.

  2. How to play Trivial Pursuit

First you need the Trivial Pursuit board, bits of different coloured pieces of something, counters, dice, question cards and between 2-6 players.
Next one person rolls the dice and moves that many spaces to a square.
After that one person asks a question from a question card to the person that has just rolled according to the colour of the square that the player is on.
Then as the game goes on you try to get to the questions where you can win coloured bits according to the colour the square is.
Later when you have got all 6 different coloured bits you go to the middle.
Finally the first one to get to the middle with all the different bits wins.

  3. My favourite board game is chess.
Two people can play this game. There are pawns, bishops, rooks, knights, a queen, a king. Pawns can attack diagonally and it moves 2 tiles if it’s at start point you can move 1 tile if you want to, bishops can move and attack diagonally. Rooks can move and attack just forward, right, back and left, knights can move specially something that I can’t explain. The queen can move and attack any direction, the king can move and attack any direction, but it can move only 1 tile. When you attack the king and the king can’t escape then it’s checkmate.

  4. My favourite game,Hali Gali.
First, you put a bell in the middle of the table.Thn, one person mixes the card and give people the card around in a same amount. 2~to7 people can play this game. After you get all the cards, you put the card down on the table so that no one can see how fruits you've got in your cards. You choose who will do it first and who will do it last. When it is your turn to put the card on the table, you take the card from the front and put the card front ways just to make sure that everyone can see it. You press the bell when there are 5 same fruits and it doesn't have to be on one card. If you want to play this game you should concentrate on the cards. If you pressed the bell and there were 5 fruirts you take all the cards on the table. After you get all the cards on the table, you keep going on and on untill the card runs out. When the game is over, you count the number of the cards. If you have more cards than the others........... YOU ARE THE WINNER!

  5. My favourite board game is chess!!!

Two people can play this game, it is mostly a mind and logical game so if you are good at maths you will be good in in this game too. To start of I would like to tell the names of the pieces and how they can attack. A pawn is a piece that can move forward but not kill forward, it can only kill digonaly and moves one sqaure but on the first move of the pawn you can move it two squares. Second is the bishop, that can move diagonly to attack and to defend or even to move normally preparing for an attack. Third is the knight, that can two forward and left or right it can do the same backwords left and right but unlike other pieces it can jump over other pieces, it can become quiet handy at times. Next comes the rook, which is very powerfull and I normally do my cheackmates from the rook and the name of the cheackmate is called "double barale shit gun" which is the name of the move, oops went way of what I was talking about, so the rook can move forward back left or right. The most powerful piece is the queen, it can move digonal and forward back left and right i also sometimes do double barel shotguns with the queen and the rook because they move the same moves, Last is the king, the most important piece it is very weak and moves diagonly, forward back left or right but only on square. Now you know how every piece moves so now I will tell you how to win, to win you have to get your oponent in cheackmate or in cheack 16 times. to get the king in cheack you have to be in a position of you being able to kill and of the king has no where to escape it is cheack mate as simple as that. Now I will tell you the points of every piece, the pawn is only one, the bishop is three, the knight is three too, the rook is five, the queen is 9 and the king is the game in your name if you kill it so it wont have any point of course. In real chess you also have time. Now I will tell you what stalemate is, it is when your king is not in cheack and you have to move but where ever you move it is check, so that means it is a draw. Now I will tell you what castling is, it is when your king and rook have not moved and you can change there places in one go. The best starting move is taking out both your pwns in front of the king and queen becase it makes way for your bishops and your king has space to move. Try and think forward in chess so you can understand the openants plan. Oh yes and to play chess you need a chess board. If you lose remember it is a game so dont cry or say your openant cheeted

    Enjoy playing chess

  6. My favorite board game is Monopoly!

First 2-6 people can play this game. Then you will get the board and there is a card which is to buy the land. Also if you want you can get a banker. The banker has a money calculator so if you roll 2 dice and if you get double like if you get two fives then you can roll it again. And if you land on a place , you can buy it. So if you want to buy it you can tell the banker so the banker can minus money, also you can't put lot's money in the card using calculator because the game won't finish for long time. Also if you land on a place which has treasure picture on it then you should read what it says and do it. Also there is a jail card, It means you have to go to the jail and there is a card that you can get out free but there is a another way to get out of the jail , When you rolled the dice and it is double then you are free from the jail but you can’t roll it again. But if you don't have money then you have to miss your turn for5 times or you can pay money.

If you get same color of the land then you can build hotel and houses. But don't forget to pay it!!! And if the person lands on other peoples land they have to pay it and there is a special card which says how much it coast for the hotels and houses and it tells how much you have to pay if you land on people land! And don't forget there is winner!! Well if you want to be a winner you have to buy lots of places and build lots of hotels and houses so you can money people louse their money. So if the people don’t have enough money you have sell a land and if you don't have lands you are the loser. Who has all of the places but not the card which has treasure picture on it you are the winner!!

  7. HOW TO PLAY SNAKES AND LADDERS?
My favorite board game is snakes and ladders. I also like Russian versions of this game, but this version is my favorite and I will tell you more about it.
As any board game snakes and ladders have an aim of the game, it is to be the first one to reach from 1 to 100.
No more than 4-6 people could play this game (it is best to be no more than 5 but 6 might be OK)
For this game you will need a snakes and ladders board, a dice and little tokens to represent each person.
First you must roll the dice over and over until someone gets 1 or 6; they will be the first person to start playing.
Continue rolling the dice by passing the amount of squares the dice will show you. (obviously roll the dice again every time it is your turn)
To win you need to get an exact amount of steps to get to 100.
    Enjoy playing this game!!!

  10. How to play Chess.

First you will have to know how all the pieces move.

A pawn moves one space forward or two on its first go. It can only attack diagonally forwards and it can't go backwards . The pawns are the pieces that are on the first row.

Next, we have a rook, that can move any number of spaces forward or backwards and can move any number of spaces left or right. It is on the second row. They look like castles.

Then there are the knights, and they can move in an L shape for example: two up and one across, or two across and one up. They are second in on the second line. They look like horses.

After them there are the bishops that can move any number of spaces diagonally. They are third in on the second line.

There is also a Queen that can move any number of spaces in any direction. It is on it's own colour in-between a bishop and the king.

Finally there is the king that can move one space in any direction. It is next to the Queen and a bishop.

The aim of the game is to get the other players king so that wherever it moves it dies called check mate.

If your queen is dead you can move your pawn to the other side of the board and you can swap your pawn with your Queen.

  14. My favourite board game is Mensch ärgere dich nicht! (Do not get annoyed, buddy! ) in English!

    How many people can play?

The game can be played by 2, 3 or 4 players – one player per board side (the original one has a pattern for 6 players on its backside).

    How do you play?

Firstly, you must choose your figure colour.

Then, everybody gets to roll the dice 3 times, if you get a :::(6) you can start the game, but if you don't get it you must wait until its your turn and try again!

Each player has 4 game figures, which are in the play area when the game starts, and which must be brought into the player's home row.

If your partner or another player rolls the dice and lands on the same place as you are, you are out!! But if you do that to somebody they are out!!!!

Oh, and by the way if you have your figure in the home row, that figure is safe!!!!

    The aim of the game:

The aim of the game is go get all four of your figures to your home row that is in the middle of the board game!

    How to win?

You win very easily, you have to get all your figures in your house! But if you have more than 2 players you must wait until one person gets 2nd 3rd, and etc.......

Good luck with the game!!!! And here is one picture link:

And another one for 6 people:

  15. Backgammon

First Open the backgammon board. You need two players to play. Secondly, the players chose which set of colored checkers will be theirs. Next each person sets up their 15 checkers on the correct points in their home base and outer board. There are 24 points in total. Each player has four points to start. Once the game board is set each player takes two dice. Each player rolls one die. The person with the highest number on the die goes first. The player uses both numbers rolled to go first. Afterwards both players use two dice to roll. The object of the game is to move all of your checkers into your home board and then peal them off. The first player to peal all of their checkers off wins the game..

The game has many rules to follow. First, a checker may be moved only to an open point or a point that has its own checker already. Secondly, the numbers on the two dice can be separate moves. For example, if a player rolls 5 and 3, he may move one checker five spaces to an open point and another checker three spaces to an open point, or he may move the one checker a total of eight spaces to an open point, but only if both 5 and 3 points are open. If the other player's checker is by itself on a point you can attack it and place it on the bar. Then the other player must roll the dice and place the checker from the bar on a free point in your home base. A player who rolls doubles plays the numbers shown on the dice twice. A roll of 6 and 6 means that the player has four sixes to use. When only one number can be played, the player must play that number. When neither number can be used, the player loses his turn. A player may not peal off until all of his checkers are in the home board. If a player peals off all his checkers before the other player starts to peal off, he wins two rounds of backgammon.

  16. How to play monopoly

First you put the community cards and chance cards on the board.
    Next you put 2 500 4 100 2 50 2 20 2 10 and 5 fives.
    HOW TO START
Start at where it says start when you have pasted the starting place collect 200 from the bank.
    The bank
the bank has the cards and all the money.
the cards are brought by the money you have.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SOMEONE LANS ON THE CARD YOU HAVE BROUGHT
Well it will say rent at the top of your card and that is how much they need to pay you.
When you land on car parking nothing good or bad happens.
If you land on go to jail go to jail.
HOW TO GET OUT OF JAIL
You have to pay 50 to get out.
But if you land on chance or community chest and get if it says get out of jail for free you can but only when you have the cards.
You can play 2 to 5 players.
The counters are ship train bin
    Hat and skateboard

    HOW TO WIN
The point of the game is to get most of the land and make the other players be bankrupt. And that is how to play monopoly 8 and up.
